The TherAdapt Adjustable Foot Stool with its universal, highly stable and sturdy design is a must-have item for any special needs classroom or therapy clinic. It has been created to ensure that a student’s feet are positioned flat on the floor regardless of seat height.

It is a well-established fact that a stable well-aligned posture is dependent on the position of the pelvis which in turn is impacted by lower extremity positioning. When seated in a chair, the feet must rest comfortably on the floor. If the child’s feet are not on the floor, the position of the pelvis cannot be stabilized. The TherAdapt Adjustable Foot Stool was specifically designed for kids whose feet do not touch the floor when sitting in a chair. Height Adjustability allows for coupling with a wide range of chairs at home, school, the clinic or wherever needed. Height adjustments for 2 in. (5cm), 4 in. (10.2cm), or 6 in. (15.2cm) from the floor are made using pre-drilled holes and a stem bolt with hand tightened knob assembly. Made of Baltic birch, the stool comes standard with a non-skid surface for safety and a metal bracket in front for stability. Both ensure safety during sit to standing transfers into and out of the chair. The Adjustable Foot Stool has two cutouts that accommodate a variety of chair leg widths, while allowing the chair and Foot Stool to move independently of each other.
