The Columbia Medical (Inspired by Drive) Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support is specifically designed for teenagers and adults with special needs. By helping to reduce extensor thrusting by children and adults with increased muscle tone, the Wrap-Around Bath Support can be a beneficial positioning aid for long sitting in the bathtub, small pool, beach, or even on the living room floor. The Wrap-Around Bath Support is available in a Lo-Back or Hi-Back model. The Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support provides increased trunk support for the individual that requires minimal (Lo-Back) to moderate (Hi-Back) assistance to maintain an upright seated position. Long-leg sitting is encouraged as well as "tailor" sitting which is great for floor-time activities and peer interaction. The Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support is also light weight and easily portable, making it the perfect bathing support solution for children and adults with special needs and their families. The Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support includes a padded support cushion made of seamless and sealed urethane. It increases comfort and conforms to individuals without the cold and hard surface characteristics of the hard plastic. What results is better positioning control and longer sitting tolerance.
