The Kore Design® Floor Wobbler™ Balance Disc is a portable, active seat for floor sitting offered in a variety of colors. Floor time, circle time, any time- the Wobbler Balance Disc allows for gentle movement while sitting that engages and strengthens core muscles. The gently rounded base with patented anti-tip safety ring allows children to be active while remaining in one spot. Generous space around the rim prevents hand and finger pinches. Seat is manufactured with Kore Antimicrobial Protection- FDA approved Smart Plastic Antimicrobial which offers broad-spectrum protection and has been tested to reduce up to 99.9% of common bacteria including E. coli, listeria and S. aureus. The seat surface is easily wiped clean while antimicrobial properties are not removed.
In therapy settings, the Balance Disc can be used to work on balance and equilibrium as well as protective responses in both sitting and standing. The gentle rocking motion can provide calming sensory input for children who have difficulty regulating their behavior. Movement using the Floor Wobbler can also act as an outlet for children with high energy. This can also help to improve focus/attention to task.
