The Leckey Squiggles Seating System with Mobile Hi-Low Base provides the ultimate combination of postural support and everyday comfort for young growing children with special needs. Designed for users between 29.5 – 43.3 in. (75-110 cm) in height and up to 48.4 lbs. (22kg), it is recommended for children approximately 1-5 years old. Offering many accessories to customize support, the Squiggles Seat is able to accommodate users with moderate to complex needs without over-supporting. The seat allows for the freedom of movement necessary to reach full developmental potential. It’s the perfect Early Intervention seating solution for home, school and clinic with Foot Pedal Adjustable Seat Height from floor to table. Integrated standard Push Handle on the mobility base with 4 Locking Swivel Casters ensures easy navigation.

The Leckey Squiggles Seating System comes standard with a Height Adjustable Back, Width and Depth Adjustable Seat , Tilt-in-Space (30 degrees back/10 degrees forward) and Back Angle Adjustment (25 degrees recline/ 10 degrees forward from upright). Using the Tilt-in-Space function the user can be tipped back for pressure relief or rest without changing the angle of the hip. Using the Back Recline function the angle of the hip is opened as the back reclines. The Squiggles Seat is lightweight for easy transport and storage, and is upholstered with soft, breathable fabric that is comfortable against the skin and helps prevent irritation or skin breakdown.

In Required Step 2 , you can choose to add a Pelvic Harness . The Four-Point Harness in combination with the system’s standard Flexible Sacral Cushion ensures pelvic comfort and stability. Pelvic stability is the foundation of the optimal seated posture.

In Required Step 3 , you can choose to add the Adjustable Footrest . Weight bearing through the feet and legs further stabilizes the seated posture. The footplate is adjustable in height and angle and flips up and out of the way for transfers.

Please refer to the Accessories Section for many additional support options for the feet, legs, pelvis, trunk, shoulders and/or head. Accessories allow you to customize the Leckey Squiggles Seating System to meet the specific positioning needs of your child.
