The Kore Design® Wobble Chair provides a seat for active sitting. It is offered in 4 Sizes: 12”, 14”, 16” and 18.7” appropriate for preschoolers to pre-teens.

The gently rounded base moves with the sitter in all directions then naturally comes to rest in the upright position when the sitter stands up. Homework, reading, drawing, eating or board games are no longer sedentary activities when you add the Wobble. Patented Anti-Tip Safety Ring on the base of the Wobble Chair prevents tipping over and falls. Made with Kore Antimicrobial Protection, Wobble Chairs are manufactured with FDA approved Smart Plastic Antimicrobial that offers broad- spectrum protection and has been tested to reduce up to 99.9% of common bacteria including E. coli, listeria, and S. aureus. Seat surface is easily wiped clean.

• Some people with special needs have a hard time understanding where their body is in space (proprioception). To compensate, their bodies stay in constant motion to give their brain the necessary feedback to get a better sense of their body position.
• Some individuals with special needs engage in movement for other reasons related to sensory integration (the body’s ability to take in and process information from the environment through the senses). Rocking can provide a calming effect for children with autism. Movement can act as an outlet for individuals with high energy such as children with ADHD. Continuous movement while sitting relaxes the right side of the brain, leading to better focus.
• Low muscle tone can cause a person to lean into support such as the sides and back of a traditional chair. Heavy reliance on support with decreased muscle activation during sitting leads to poor strength and endurance of postural muscles. The Wobble Chair encourages consistent activation of core muscles to maintain upright sitting thereby increasing strength and endurance of these muscles. Sedentary “slumping” is prevented and therapeutic sitting with improved posture happens without the sitter even realizing it!
