The Convaid EZ Rider is a lightweight, compact folding, and highly durable pushchair designed for users with good trunk strength and upper body stability. It features Self-Tensio® , a built-in self-tensioning seating system that promotes stable pelvic positioning and improves seating tolerance. The EZ Rider's 10-degree fixed tilt supports an upright posture, enhancing the user's functional abilities while seated.

This adaptive stroller offers five years of growth capability through a tool-free seat depth extension system. The Tension Adjustable Strap Back allows for customized back support, conforming to the individual's anatomical shape for optimal comfort and stability.

This push chair comes in four sizes (12, 14, 16, and 18) for users weighing up to 250 lbs. An optional Transit Package is available for users up to 170 lbs., meeting WC19 transport safety standards and allows the EZ Rider to be used with a vehicle’s wheelchair tie down system. The attractive, highly durable EZ Rider also offers numerous positioning accessories for unique support needs and it is made in the USA.

In Step 1 , select your EZ Rider's size and upholstery. You have two primary upholstery options: Convaid Standard Fabric for comfort or Textilene for durability. Convaid Upholstery for sizes 12, 14 and 16 comes with built in Zipper Pockets in the back and sides to add your own additional padding and support if desired. Both fabrics can be upgraded to Heavy Duty Reinforced Upholstery , with some color restrictions. The upholstery is removable, washable, and comes in various colors, which you can preview in the Photo Gallery. Refer to the Size Chart Section to ensure a proper fit with room for growth.

Also in Step 1 , you can purchase the Transit Version of the EZ Rider. This version includes Transit Anchor Brackets for use with vehicles with wheelchair tie-downs. The Headrest Extension, Trunk/Pelvic Positioning options, and Foot Positioners are required for the Transit Version. The EZ Rider's Transit Version has passed WC19 & ISO7176 transport safety standards.

In Step 2 , you'll select Trunk and Pelvic Supports . The EZ Rider includes a 2-Point Positioning Belt as standard, unless you’ve chosen the Transit Model. The Transit Model requires a 3-Point Positioning Belt and your choice of an H-Harness or Full Torso Vest. For Size 12 EZ Rider ONLY a 5-Point Positioning/Restraint Harness can be chosen for children under 50 lbs.

Here are your options for trunk and pelvic support

In Step 3 , you can choose an optional Support Cushion for your EZ Rider. The Upholstery of the Seat Cushion (Textilene Fabric vs. Convaid Fabric) must match the Upholstery you chose for the push chair. Note: If you have a Size 12 EZ Rider Transit Model with the 5-Point Positioning/Restraint Harness, a Support Cushion cannot be used.
