Although it was not the original intent of Vibes Hi-Fidelity Earplugs, they are a great solution for individuals with Autism and other auditory sensory issues. The way they are designed makes it easier for individuals to understand what is being said around them. Vibes Hi-Fidelity Earplugs make it more comfortable for users in loud environments without inhibiting their ability to communicate verbally with others and hear everything around them clearly. Note: The only thing that sounds a bit muffled is your own voice, but that is unavoidable. Vibes Hi-Fidelity Earplugs feature a clear-as-glass design making them virtually invisible, allowing users to be discreet about their use of hearing protection. From the manufacturer: "Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) occurs when sensitive structures in the inner ear are damaged by brief or extended periods of loud sounds. NIHL can occur from sounds at or above 85dB, and the damage will occur more quickly as sounds get louder."
