The Thomashilfen NEW EASyS Modular S pediatric wheelchair is the perfect choice for children who require extra postural support in the seated position and there is a desire to maintain optimum freedom of movement for the upper body and arms. The short seat back on this adaptive stroller, in combination with a separate multidimensional adjustable headrest (available in 3 styles), ensures appropriate therapeutic support for active children. The EASyS Modular S special needs push chair allows children to be well positioned for independent function and rest.

The Thomashilfen EASyS Modular S Seat includes a patented stabilizing feature called Balanced Safety System (BSS®). BSS works automatically by adjusting the seat position so that it remains centered over all four wheels. The BSS assures the optimum center of gravity as the seat moves through its tilt-in-space and recline ranges and it prevents tipping. This system helps optimize the recline feature of the EASyS, making maneuverability of the stroller while it is reclined easy and safe. And, EASyS Modular recline mechanism maintains the stroller's supporting accessories right where your child needs them, eliminating shear.

The headrest is available in 3 different styles: Neck Support which supports the neck area during head movement; Shell which gives maximum support for the whole head and Adjustable Laterals which allows for individual adjustment of the supports on each side of the head.

The Advantage Chassis, outdoor folding aluminum stroller frame, comes standard with a reclining back and tilt-in-space technology. There is a single release lever located on the back of the chair near the base of the headrest that controls both the tilt-in-space feature and the ability to separate the seat from the base. Changing the viewing direction of the chair between forward facing and rear facing is easy and accomplished without tools.

The EASyS Modular S unique lateral hip and arm supports are height and depth adjustable. They are positioned close to the child’s body to encourage a relaxed, well-aligned seated posture. Knee angle adjustments are easily accomplished with a quick release lever. The Articulated Flip Up Footplate is height and angle adjustable. Front swivel wheels with solid tires ensure easy maneuverability. Soft suspension absorbs vibrations and ensures a smooth ride without compromising steering.

Offered in 2 sizes, each adapted stroller can accommodate a significant amount of growth for years of use. The seat width and depth, seat back height, footrest height and headrest are all adjustable for growth. The seat cushion covers are made from a soft breathable fabric that assists your child’s temperature regulation. Covers are machine washable.

The Thomashilfen EASyS Modular S special needs stroller is a crash-tested pushchair system that meets the ANSI/RESNA WC/19 standard for bus/van transportation. Wheelchair tie downs are standard on the Advantage Chassis stroller frame.

The Thomashilfen EASyS Modular Seat can be transferred onto the EASyS Quick Hi/Low Indoor Base to convert the special needs stroller into a special needs indoor seating system.
