The Odyssey Chair is a multifunctional, highly adjustable chair designed to provide support in sitting for children with mild to severe positioning needs. The Odyssey Chair is available in two sizes: Early Childhood and Secondary.

The availability of many positioning accessories, coupled with a high degree of adjustability makes the Odyssey Chair a perfect selection whether it is being purchased for one growing and developing child or for a multi-user environment. The Odyssey chair can be used at home, in the classroom, or in clinical settings for treatment and evaluation.

The sides of the Odyssey Chair are constructed of laminated phenolic to withstand years of use. The seat, back and footrest surfaces are made of wood. The Odyssey Chair seat height can be changed to meet the needs of each child: low for independent transfers to high to allow children to reach higher table-tops. The Odyssey Chair is stable and allows a child to independently climb in and out of the chair. The seat is depth and angle adjustable for individualized therapeutic pelvic and lower extremity positioning. The Chair back is angle adjustable from 0 – 30 degrees recline.

An Odyssey Upgrade Kit is available which allows the Early Childhood Chair to grow to a Secondary size chair without purchasing a whole new chair! A great cost saver for families & schools! Please Note: This chair is as stable as a typical kitchen chair or baby highchair. However, if your child self-stimulates using vestibular movements (rocking back and forth), this product might not be the best choice to meet your child's needs.
