The Axiom PHOENIX is the newest special needs all-terrain, indoor/outdoor 3-wheeled jogging style mobility system in Adaptive Star’s already impressive lineup. It’s a versatile chair that gives families the opportunity to experience everything from a walk in the park to a full marathon. Durability, quality, and careful design open brand-new doors for the PHOENIX user. The push chair’s extremely light weight frame and single action fold facilitate transport and storage.
The PHOENIX offers a comfortable hammock style seat with a fixed 30-degree tilt. Angled calf support with a fixed footrest allows legs to rest comfortably. Offered in one size, the maximum rider height is approximately 64 in. (163 cm) tall. This chair comes standard with a fixed front wheel to allow it to be used on all types of terrain. A Swivel Wheel Axis Kit is available as an accessory. The Swivel Wheel Axis Kit is used in place of the fixed front wheel and provides two 8 in. swivel wheels for improved maneuverability on paved surfaces and during use indoors. Please Note: The swivel wheel axis kit is not designed for running or use on gravel or grass surfaces.
If your rider requires a push chair with more structured seating and an adjustable reclining back, check out the Axiom Improv and the Axiom Endeavour . In these push chairs the riders can sit upright or with back reclined to 30 degrees. The Axiom Endeavour is also available in a size 4 accommodating riders up to 68 in. tall. Individually adjustable foot buckets on the Endeavour accommodate growth of the rider. The Axiom Lassen is a traditional, 4-wheeled all-terrain push chair.
